With this understanding, our Values Education program is a fundamental part of our educational approach, supporting children in developing positive attitudes and behaviors from an early age and building healthy relationships with themselves and their environment.
The ages of 3–6 represent one of the most critical periods in a child’s development, during which personality foundations are formed and behavioral patterns begin to take shape. Values such as love, respect, sharing, empathy, responsibility, honesty, and tolerance gained during this stage become a strong inner compass that children carry throughout their lives. At Erdem Kindergarten, values education is not taught through abstract concepts alone; instead, it is presented in a concrete and understandable way through play, daily life experiences, storytelling, drama activities, and group work.
Within our educational environment, children naturally learn to wait their turn, respect others’ rights, express their emotions appropriately, and approach differences with understanding. Our teachers guide children throughout this process while emphasizing the power of being a role model. This is because children learn most effectively by observing and experiencing.
